This is a busy artistic region. There’s usually more than 2000 arts and heritage events happeing in the region each year. Of course, 2020 looks a little different but the events are slowly returning where possible.

Situated in the heart of Bathurst, the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum is the home of the internationally renowned Somerville Collection, the lifetime work of Warren Somerville AM. It is housed in the 1876 Public School building which is fitted out with the stunningly beautiful exhibitions.

10am – 2pm Sunday

The Museum is closed on the following public holidays:

Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
