July 11. Arts and Health Coordinator Steven Cavanagh accompanied artists on a site visit for the new Cowra Hospital.
Locally commissioned artists were taken through the new building to identify locations where their art will be installed.
Artworks that provide a sense of joy to uplift and support all who enter the space are being created for a range of clinical and non-clinical areas in and external to the hospital.
This is a huge project well underway. The curatorium, consisting of @artsoutwest @the_corridor_project_australia @cowraregionalartgallery have been working with the team at Health Infrastructure NSW and Arts OutWest to select and support artists to deliver incredible artworks throughout the new hospital.
