Orange Regional Conservatorium Offers More Scholarships than Ever Before

NOW CLOSED. Closes 12 November 2021.  The 2022 program will see a record number of scholarships awarded to the young music students of Orange and surrounds, with 29 fee subsidies on offer across 22 separate categories.

In 2022, Scholarships will be more diverse and inclusive than ever before, with opportunities for almost every instrument, skill level and background. New scholarships will offer more support for students experiencing financial difficulty, and of instruments that are less commonly learnt or may be more difficult to access lessons on.

Importantly, ORC scholarships are offered for all the music students of Orange who are under 21 years of age, meaning any student can apply who wishes to learn with, and be a part of the Conservatorium’s welcoming and growing community.

Other scholarships on offer include all the regular Junior and Senior Piano, String, Guitar, Drums, Brass, Wind and Vocal categories, as well Indigenous Student Support, Ensemble Scholarships, and HSC Student Support.

The ORC Scholarship program has been able to expand its size and diversity only through the support of our many local sponsors. Organisations such as the Orange Regional Arts Foundation, the Rotary Club of North Orange, Rotary Daybreak, and the Orange Male Voice Choir have made significant contributions. Along with many individuals, families and anonymous donors who continue to support the program with incredible generosity. We are humbled by role the Orange community plays in supporting young music students develop within our organisation.

A full list of available scholarships, their supporters and application forms will be available at or the ORC Admin Office Monday 18 October.
