Bathurst Sings together

Six choirs from Bathurst will perform together in an annual concert on Sunday afternoon 6 August at 2pm.

Organised by Arts OutWest, Bathurst Sings is a free performance on Sunday at the Flannery Centre. This will be the fifth year that the Bathurst Sings event has been held.

Choirs performing are the Allegri singers, Canbeltos, Panorama Chorus, Sing Australia Bathurst, U3A Singing for Pleasure and Sounds Live. Over 150 local singers are expected to perform.

“This is an opportunity for people to share their love of singing. It’s completely non-competitive, just lots of fun,” said Arts OutWest’s Tracey Callinan, a passionate singer who also conducts Bathurst’s Sounds Live choir.

Each choir will perform some of their favourite pieces and then all come together at the end to perform.

“The Bathurst Sings events have been very successful, the choirs really enjoy being together, sharing their performances,” Ms Callinan said.

The public is welcome to the free concert.
