Two of the four Arts On Tour Backroads tour funding recipients are from the NSW Central West: Congratulations Sam Paine (Mudgee) and Jude Bowler (Gulgong).
Arts OutWest supported both these applications and will co-produce Jude’s tour. It’s awesome that original, Central West made work will be touring to new parts of the state. Keep an eye out for these shows in 2024 – you’re going to love them.
Backroads connects communities throughout regional and remote NSW to small-scale, high quality performing arts events. The initiative aims to extend and support the reach of professional productions to regional towns that do not have performing arts centres as well as support small hall activation and the work of independent producers and artists.
