Artstate Bathurst 2018

Applications are now open for panels, presentations and hands-on workshops. The Arts Program celebrates the ambition and ability of the whole arts and cultural ecology of the Central West.

Submissions close 5pm, Thursday 28 June:

Artstate is a four-year project by Regional Arts NSW to shine a light on excellence in regional arts practice and to explore the exciting possibilities for arts and cultural development across the state. This year Artstate is being hosted in Bathurst from 1-4 November.

Over the period we will be partnering with our network of Regional Arts Development Organisations to bring a stimulating program of regional, national and international speakers to share their experiences and knowledge. A curated arts program will provide an unprecedented opportunity to see the best the regional NSW has to offer.

“Artstate 2018 will showcase the rich and deep artistic and cultural identity of the Central West, a region that continues to be a breeding ground for a new generation of young artists, and a place for established, renowned artists to make their home”.  Adam Deusien, Arts Program Director.

Artstate Bathurst is presented by Regional Arts NSW in partnership with Arts OutWest and supported by the NSW Government and Destination NSW.  Artstate Local Government Partner is Bathurst Regional Council.
