Selections from What’s On are used in our regular radio spots; featured events (those DIY submitted by presenters) are selected for social media posts and our enews.
The What’s On is a go-to site for local media.
What is listed: Event listings are sourced or supplied from local venues and arts organisations. Listing is free and open to any arts and cultural events (one-off or regular) across all artforms in the region, happening across the NSW Central West in the local government areas of Bathurst Region, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Forbes, Lachlan, Lithgow, Mid-Western Region, Oberon, Orange, Parkes and Weddin.
Many events listed have been originally shared by the organisers on social media or council lists. Whilst all care is taken – and accuracy is our priority – we can take no responsibility for date changes or the content of contributed information.
‘Featured events’ are those submitted directly online by presenters. We highlight these on the Culture Maps Central NSW Instagram and in the bi-monthly Artspeak Local enews.
Use of images: Event promotors are asked to only include their own original images / images that they have permission to use / copyright free stock images. For more information see our fact sheet on Using Images For Promoting Events
How listings are approved: These listings will be manually approved by the Arts OutWest team before publication (during business hours). Please allow a couple of days for listings to be published.
Making changes to event listings: If you have submitted an event and want to make changes just email us at artsoutwest@csu.edu.au for anything urgent please call us on 02 6338 4657.
