Business planning for creatives
A business or strategic plan is a summary and evaluation of an entrepreneurial idea – and it should be more than just a document to make bank managers and funding bodies happy. A useful plan can make the difference between creative business success and heading back to the drawing board. This workshop reframes the planning process specifically for creative practitioners, and helps participants create a business and/or strategic plan that will actually help them progress and grow their creative profession.

Networking tips for creatives
Hate networking? This one is for you! This in-person workshop is a surprisingly fun event designed to encourage creative people to get to know each other, while acknowledging the horror, and sharing a few tips at the same time. While it’s a vital skill in the creative industries, many practitioners consider networking to be the stuff of nightmares. Networking Tips and Techniques for Creatives combines education with the opportunity to practice in a safe and friendly environment while embracing the discomfort of the whole process and having a laugh.

Working out what to charge for creative products and services can be a colossal challenge. Where to even start? Pricing for Creatives is a practical workshop that covers the basics of figuring out the price point for creative work, including calculating costs and understanding what the market can bear. Pricing for Creatives is vital for anyone struggling to understand the value of their own work, and how to share that value with others.
