‘Sunshine on the Peaks’

VIDEO: Men and high school boys in Grenfell have recorded their first song as part of the Men’s Songwriting for Wellbeing project. The group of a dozen or so worked with singer -songwriter Abby Smith over four weekly workshops.

They worked on lyrics and music, all with a focus on men’s mental health, looking at issues such as depression and anxiety.

They recorded the song ‘Sunshine on the Peaks’ in Grenfell on 22 September with the help of Abby and music engineer Kris Schubert.
