ALERT!! Entries Extended & Prizes Doubled for Tremain’s Heritage Art Prize

Tremain Heritage Art Prize Closing date extended to Wednesday, 28th February 2018 The organisers of the Tremain Heritage Art Prize have announced an extension to the closing date for entries from December 31st 2017 to 28th February, 2018 and an increase in the prizemoney on offer.Stephen Birrell, owner of Tremain’s Mill said “The closing date has been put back 8 weeks due to problems experienced by some artists lodging their entries online. The problem has now been resolved and we hope the extra time to lodge entries will give everyone an opportunity to participate”.The Tremain’s Mill Gallery & Warehouse will now be open to receive the artworks for judging on Friday 30th March and Saturday 31st March between 10.00am and 4.00pm each day.Judging will take place throughout the month of March and the winners will be announced at the ‘Heritage Trades Trail’ Gala Dinner on Saturday, 12th May.In addition to the extended closing date for entries, prizemoney for each of the three prizes on offer has been increased due to outside sponsorship contributions.
- The Open Prize has been increased from $2,000 to $4,000.
- The Junior Prize has been increased from $1,000 to $2,000,
- The People’s Choice Prizes increased from $1,000 to $2,000.
