Entries closing: Tremain’s Heritage Art Prize

The inaugural Tremain’s Heritage Art Prize is being offered to encourage local artists living in and around The Bathurst region to record and preserve in any medium (paint, sculpture, photography etc.) any local historic landmarks, buildings or places that they feel may be at risk or endangered.
There will be 3 prize categories; Open prize $2000, Young Artist (under 21) prize $1000 and the People’s Choice prize $1000.
The subject theme is defined as;
‘Identify and record historical points of interest in and around the Bathurst Regional Council locality in any medium.’
- Entries open October 1st 2017
- Entries close December 31st 2017
- Final Exhibit Submission 31st January 2018
- Finalists will be on exhibit at Tremain’s Mill Gallery from 1st March – 12th May 2018
- Winners will be announced at the Bathurst Heritage Trades Trail gala dinner on Saturday, 12th May 2018.
