CWSPF Residency Expression of Interest Closes
Thu January 25 at 5:00 pm - 5:01 pm
The Central West Short Play Festival is offering 1 year residencies for up to 8 people at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre in 2018.
Supported by Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre’s Local Stages Program and CASP (Country Arts Support Program), this project is designed to further the writing skills in our region, and provide writers and theatre makers with opportunities to tell our own stories in a professionally supported environment.
In the program, Maryanne Jaques will work with the participants on one act plays. The project has several stages of development set up to assist the participants in fully developing their concept. Throughout the year the scripts will be read by actors in public readings and finally performed in full scale productions at the end of the year.
Anyone from around the Central West is eligible to apply and any participant selected for the program will be assisted with travel costs and accommodation expenses.
