Come and Try Weekend Workshop

Evans Arts Council is hosting a Come and Try weekend on 23-24 March. This weekend will give the general public the opportunity to view the range of arts and crafts available through regular workshops hosted by the Arts Council. Attendance and participation for this weekend is free, made possible by a grant from Charles Sturt University.
“People will be able to watch demonstrations of various crafts and try them out for themselves” stated Wendy-lou Tisdell, President of Evans Arts Council. “A range of activities are planned for the weekend including painting, card making, felting, macramé, crotchet, patchwork, paper bead making and printing.”
There is no charge for participants, and anyone attending is encouraged to bring an apron and their lunch. The weekend will run 10 am to 3 pm each day.

Teachers will be demonstrating various arts and crafts that you will be able to participate in, to create your own masterpieces. Finished items will also be on display.
