Cultural mud maps

As part of our investigation into cultural tourism in the Central West we’ve made mud maps of some of the region’s big cultural assets: festivals, public art, art trails, galleries & museums.

Cultural Tourism is one of the current strategic priority areas for Arts OutWest and it has been flagged by government at all levels as a key economic driver of regional NSW over the coming years.

The NSW Central West already has a wealth of arts cultural offering to visitors. How these can be supported, developed, grown and enhanced will be an ongoing conversation we’ll be having with communities across our region over the next couple of years.

Cultural maps: NSW Central West

The first step in developing a regional plan and beginning our conversations around cultural tourism is to map what is already there.

These maps are very much a rough WORK IN PROGRESS. Do you have something to add? Contact us
