In 2017 we will be in Lismore, in the creative region of Northern NSW. Registrations are now open, with a $100 early bird discount.
Last Wednesday at The Australian Museum, Regional Arts NSW in partnership with Arts Northern Rivers announced the program for the inaugural Artstate NSW, a four-day event that will welcome an anticipated 200 arts industry delegates from 30th November to 3rd December 2017.

Regional Arts NSW is extending a call for papers as part of the speakers program at Artstate Lismore. Responding to the themes of creative practice or creative partnerships in a regional area your proposal may take the form of a panel, a presentation or workshop.

The first speakers for Artstate Lismore have been announced! Speakers include Keynote Speakers Soumik Datta (UK), Karoline Trollvik (NO) and Rhoda Roberts (Northern Rivers), as well as NSW based speakers Cate McQuillen (Northern Rivers), John Wardle (Sydney) and Chris Spencer (Mid North Coast).

There won’t be a dull minute in the Artstate Lismore Arts Program, with the world premiere of NORPA’s Djurra, live performances by TORA, Tullara, Blakboi and Tralala Blip, and exhibitions including Four Women (I do belong), Dreaming Trails and Bundjalung Weaving. An opening night program, curated by Rhoda Roberts is to be announced soon!
