Arts OutWest is Seeking New Board Members

Filed : Arts and funding opportunities, Local and industry news .

Applications Open: We’re looking for some specific skills as well as ensuring that the board has diversity across gender, location, age and cultural background. Come and talk to us.

Arts OutWest (AOW) is a not-for-profit incorporated association and the board positions are voluntary, unpaid positions with a two-year term.

Applicants must be based in the Arts OutWest region.

These are new positions. This call for board member applicants is part of a new process of moving to a skills-based board.  In order to achieve this we are presenting a new constitution to the Arts OutWest membership at a Special General Meeting on Tuesday 8 May 2018.

If adopted, there will be a need to appoint four board members to the board in 2018 through an application process. A further three positions will be advertised in 2019 to complete the changeover process. After that the annual call-out for board members will continue.

Applicants are asked to submit three documents:

  1.  A filled out AOW Skills Form
  2.  A submission about your strengths
  3.  A short CV

Applications must be received by Thursday 10 May, 2018.

If you would like to discuss the process or have further questions,
please contact the Executive Director, Tracey Callinan (02) 6338 4657 or tcallinan@csu.edu.au

If the new constitution is not adopted, this call-out for new board members will be cancelled.
