Arts and Health program: overview
The development and support of arts within the health and disability sectors in the Central West is a key area of project work for Arts OutWest.
Arts OutWest’s Arts and Health program began in 2008. Projects have included Aboriginal arts and health programs, community arts projects, research, skills development and exhibitions for people with disabilities, forums exploring arts and disabilities partnerships for the region, and a major pilot program to embed arts activity within the re-developed Bathurst Health Service.
