INVINCIBLE ART EXHIBITION EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST.

Artshed is putting together an exhibition titled INVINCIBLE, a contemporary art exhibition exploring concepts of Invincibility, Invisibility and Vulnerability.Artshed is a collective of artists with and without disability, living in the Central West, who have come together to create an exciting new artist run initiative (ARI).

The exhibition will run June 30 to July 16, 2017  at Tremain’s Mill shed (next to Bedwells Feed Barn), previously known as Invincible Flour Mill, Keppel St Bathurst.

Expressions of interest are due by June 2, 2017.

Artists are invited to respond to the questions…

  • When have you felt invincible?
  • When have you felt afraid or invisible?
  • What does ‘INVINCIBLE’ conjure up in your imagination?

Artworks can include paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures, performance, installations, photography, jewellery or new experimental pieces/ technologies.  $20 per person to exhibit.

Artshed artists are pushing the boundaries, collaborating on an experimental piece for INVINCIBLE that includes film, sound, lights/ projections, sculpture/ installation and interactive performance.  If you would like to join Artshed artists in this innovative artwork or respond to the theme in your own way and become a part of this exhibition that will be innovative, becoming a sensory and tantalising experience for all, please contact Penny May from Arts OutWest on 63384657 or email pmay@csu.edu.au
