Adverse Camber tour

Filed : Our Projects:, UK exchange .

It was such joy to host Welsh storytellers from Adverse Camber in the region for shows and workshops in May. Here’s some highlights…

In May 2019 acclaimed UK arts organisation Adverse Camber and three Welsh storytellers  spent two weeks in the NSW Central West performing and running storytelling workshops.

Activities were held in Bathurst, Condobolin, Hill End, Orange, Lithgow and Kandos.

They were guests of BMEC and Arts OutWest. They were supported by Cyngor Celfyddydau Cymru | Arts Council of WalesWales Arts International – Celfyddydau Rhyngwladol Cymru.

Thank you also to Gang Gang Gallery (Lithgow), Cementa (Kandos), the Wiradjuri Study Centre (Condobolin), Orange Regional Conservatorium, Charles Sturt University and all those who made the visit a delight and a success.

Thanks so much! This trip was life-changing in so many ways.. the beautiful cultural experiences in Condoblin at the Wiradjiri centre, great gigs in mazing venues and lovely people. Great audiences and superb support from Arts Out west. You sowed a seed very deep in us all i think.. a seed of desire to return and share work again in this amazing country.
