Add your event
Arts OutWest promotes around 1800 arts and cultural events each year locally, regionally and beyond through radio, print and online media, in the monthly Artspeak e-newsletter and via the online What’s On.
Which events do we list? Events must be related to ‘arts and culture’ and be taking place within the geographic area serviced by Arts OutWest. i.e, the local government areas of Bathurst Region, Blayney, Cabonne, Cowra, Forbes, Lachlan, Lithgow, Oberon, Orange, Parkes and Weddin.
ALL eligible events submitted will be listed in the online What’s On. Where possible we will also promote your event through our media activities, but please be aware that we cannot promise or guarantee any particular coverage to any event or organisation.
Deadlines for Content
For the calendar in the Artspeak e-newsletter: By the 20th of the month prior to the month of the event.
For other media: At least 3 weeks before the event date.
The sooner you can submit content the more coverage we may be able to help you get.
Send an email with your event listing to firstname.lastname@example.org
or, if your event is listed on facebook just send us the URL and we’ll load it up from there.
What to include:
Date and days
Where / how to get tickets
Venue name and address, including town
Organisation hosting the event
A description of the event (remember for us to talk effectively about your event on radio a good description is necessary)
IMPORTANT: Please keep a note of the information you have sent to us. If there are ANY changes at all please let us know right away. Please be aware that many radio spots and all of our printed publications are done in advance so the sooner you can get changes or cancellations to us the better.
